My name is Zoie Garrett, and I am the RULH Local School District Treasurer. I am very excited to be working for an excellent school district such as RULH Local Schools.
I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and Associate of Science in Accounting from the University of Northwestern Ohio. I then completed school law and finance coursework for my treasurer license through the University of Phoenix. I previously served as an Assistant Treasurer at the Clermont Northeastern School District. I also have experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Fifth Third Bank and as a Client Support Specialist at a large insurance company.
In the Treasurer's Office, we strive to be outstanding stewards of the money entrusted to us by the community and to work to support the excellent work done by the district's educators and administrator's and meet the goals as established by the board. The Treasurer is the chief financial officer of the District, and as such, it is my responsibility to oversee the annual budget and appropriations, depositing of funds, purchasing, processing of payroll, monitoring of fixed assets, investing, and financial reporting, all under the rules and regulations established by the State of Ohio in Ohio Revised Code.
