Welcome to RULH school nurse page! I will put important information on this page for parents/guardians to referece with any questions they may have. Although, if you do not find what you need on this page please call one of the school's and ask for me. I do cover all three buildings so if I am not in the one you call they can find me and send your call to me. Please always reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.
If your child needs to take medication at school and it is prescribed by a doctor, it will need to be brought in by a parent and all paperwork must be filled out prior to dispensing at school. Over the counter medication may be stored at school but also has paperwork that needs filled out. If you have questions please notify me at school and we can work out getting your child the care they need at school.
Illness in all three buildings has dropped tremendously in the last couple of weeks! We had a rough patch in January and early February which is pretty normal regardless of circumstances. However, by mid February we usually see a drop in illness and that is exaclty what we are seeing now. I am hopeful our numbers stay low and we are headed to a healthy spring season.
Please do not hesitate to call me or reach out with any questions or concerns. Open lines of communication is the key to keeping everyone up to date.
Medication Forms: Students who need to take mediation at school will need to have a form signed by a parent/guardian. Prescription medication has to have a form signed by a physician. I have attached the forms below and you may print these forms and bring them in filled out with the medication.
