For those interested, following are the dates of the remaining boys games for this season (total of six). The weather has really affected all school events so far this winter, and it has been difficult to keep up with everything. Thanks to Susie Skinner and Jeff Wilson for their efforts.
1. Wednesday, February 10 (Bethel) if canceled, to be played Thursday, Feb. 11
2. Friday, February 12 (Manchester, senior night)
3. Monday, February 15 (North Adams)
4. Tuesday, February 16 (Lynchburg)
5. Friday, February 19 (@ West Union)
6. Saturday, February 20 (@ Lynchburg)
Boys' first round sectional action will be @ Western Brown H S on either February 26 or February 27.
The following is the revised JH SHL girls' tournament brackets, dates, and times of play:
7th grade
Thursday, February 11 -- Ripley (home team) vs. West Union (visiting team) 6:30 PM @ Fayetteville Jr. H.S.
8th grade
Thursday, February 11 -- Ripley (home team) vs. Manchester (visiting team) 8:00 PM @ Fayetteville H.S.
Ticket prices will be $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. No passes will be honored. If you buy a ticket to one game, it will also be good for admission to the other game. Access to each gymnasium can be made throughout the inside of the buildings.
Boys' tournament brackets will be released once all games have been played. More on the boys later. |

Due to weather conditions the Title I Parent Meeting orignially scheduled for Tuesday, February 9, will now be held on Thursday, February 18. The Title I federal funds specify that a portion of the money must be spent towards parent involvement activities in the schools. We are seeking your input as to how parents can have a positive impact on their children’s education. Please try to attend and support this effort. Refreshments and cookies will be served.
